Brent, you guys are keeping better records than I am of the number of shares I'm long. I used the number 160m because Paul did but I'm not sure how many shares I have now. I'm probably closer to 190m now. I picked up close to 10m more last week in that $27-$28 range! If you really want to know, I'll see if my broker can help you out. Geez, that'll mean counting those in the vault too!

As to my cost per share, I'm not sure which record you want. I transferred 370 shares to Precious Child Pregnancy Support Center last week. I got almost a $10,000 deduction (unfortunately it was the day Presstek closed at $26.50) and the cost basis for those shares was just under $8. I bought an additional 400 shares at $28 to replace those shares. Which cost basis do I use in calculating my total dollars invested?

Most of my shares were bought in 1994. I bought some in that crazy runup to $200 (I think I wound up with some at $194 pre-split). My total dollars invested is somewhere just under $2 million. Do I really have to do the math to satisfy you? If your calculation shows my cost basis is $11.03, I'll settle for that!

As for Paul's average, I recall him posting several times that he shorted 5m more shares and the price was somewhere around $50. We've had a split since then. I'm not the expert here but I think that would mean 10,000 at $25. Is that the way it works?

You wanna run down all of your trades in Presstek from beginning to end? Aw come on! Pull out those confirms and share your records with us. I seem to remember that you sold half your puts and got all your money out and then......

BTW, I started to have certificates issued today!
