That was so much fun! Cats feel and show so much emotion that only cat lovers see. My 17 year old Himalayan has gotten more expressive over the years and clearly shows his affection for me. I'll never forget the day when I was trying to clip his nails/claws and one of them had grown curved and was very close to his paw pads. He decided that he really would prefer that I not clip that nail and was struggling with me. I then held him tight and made the clip while trying to hold the pad back. I don't know if I succeeded (no blood), but instead of scratching or even pretend-biting me, he actually turned his face right to mine and gave me a "kitty-kiss." I almost cried.
