Contra the diseased precepts of the fundamentalist cult promoting this arrant nonsense, the survival of most of our race is contingent on continued use of the fossil fuels that so terrify the acolytes of Supreme Stupid.

IF there is merit to the anthropogenic argument there exists no evidence of any solution solely through mitigation -- at acceptable cost. Sane response, if necessary, will come mostly about through adaptation. That adaptation will require wealthy societies and the necessary wealth will involve carbon based fuels for any foreseeable future, perhaps forever.

Recognition of facts like that require cognitive abilities not superceded by the dogmas of a primitive and disgusting substitute for religion.
