I'd like to see a real debt Jubilee. Wiping away all debts (public and private), every 7 years, as they did in Old Testament times. That we fail to do this is, IMHO, one of the reasons so many global credit meltdowns have taken place in what should have been Jubilee years.

As a matter of fact, think we just entered a Golden Jubilee Year. Those take place every 49 yrs. It's one of the reasons I think a recession is in the pipeline. Not Jewish. Just find the phenomenon fascinating.

Unfortunately, none of this is going to happen under the current system of global governance, because excessive debt is the means by which the banksters control governments, corporations, and populations all over the world.

They're not going to relinquish that control unless they have no other choice. In other words, things will have to get very very ugly for everyone before that has a chance of happening. All indications are things will get that bad in the next few years. That's why we relocated far from any major city when we retired in 2008.
