A few highlights from Keith Benjamin's (Robertson Stephens) AOL update of 12/22/97:

1. Subscriber growth for the December quarter may exceed estimate of 10.4 million, on flat marketing expenditures.

2. Additions to commerce backlog provide more visibility on recurring revenues and EPS growth.

3. AOL.COM should allow service to reach the larger web audience at work.

4. Key is the recent launch of AOL NetMail, which allows access to personal e-mail though the Web.

5. Stock will continue to work towards $140 price target on greater EPS visibility.

Yes, I am aware RS & Co stand to make money if AOL lets them do a secondary.....

International subscribers are now over 1 million.

All FWIW
