TP, please read my entire post.
Exercised 150k options, then sold 125k shares, pocketing ~ $50,000.
The pocket money is way more than enough to pay the taxes owed.

I admitted that he needed to pay taxes from the $50k that he pocketed.
However, the increase in taxes due to the income on option exercise will be less than $50k.
