Believe me, it(Playstation) is selling like hot cakes. Take that from one with three teenage kids. They are raving about it due to perceived superiority over N64 graphics... but being a part time gamer myself, I can tell you that Sony made a major coup when they lured SquareSoft from the Nintendo crowd. That is the main reason kids want Playstation... to play Final Fantasy VII. If you look and trace back the dismal sales prior to the introduction of FFVII, you'll see what I mean. Sony did cut Nintendo's throat this time and they have'nt stopped the bleeding yet.
