When I noticed what I did, I was wishing SI allowed you THIRTY minutes to edit AND remove posts so I could have at least explained myself or removed all the old news items before any of you noticed. ;o) I feel really foolish about it since I spent a few minutes on each one to arrange them right after pasting, and I never bothered to check the dates. ASND seems to be the central focus of CSCO's offensive strategy...1998 is going to be a brutal war for market share. >>>Mory gave all the employees at the Core Switching Division (formerly known as Cascade Communications) new jackets last Friday: they had the Ascend logo embroydered on them. Nice jackets, very costly. Is this typical of what companies do if they are going to be bought out?<<< I think Mory is looking for brownie points with the CSCC employees who seem to be mighty pissed since the merger. Remember those synopses that Sector posted on the news-only thread? There was mention of significant attrition among the CSCC employee ranks, most notably the engineers. Mory knows he better keep CSCC happy, they're the ones barely keeping our heads above the water. Style Pts.
