Yes, crop failures do occur periodically. But, as a result of rapid climate change, they are more likely.

Thanks to machines powered by fossil fuels, agriculture has taken enormous leaps and bounds in the 20th century.

Now liberals want to wring their hands over some of the environmental impact said fossil fuels are having on certain crops. Never mind the fact that these fossil fuels are the reason why the world can produce much more food today than it ever has in the history of civilization.

So no, crop failures are not more likely to happen as a result of fossil fuels. In fact, they're LESS likely to happen.
