Vanguard - our old whale increases it's stake in Apricus once more.

At June 30, 2015 they held 1,308,540 shares of Apricus in their different funds. I have them at 1,472,391 at September 30, 2015. That would be an increase of 163,851 shares in the last quarter. Which can be translated as a 12.5% increase. They are close to owning 3% of the shares outstanding.

Compare Vanguards increase in Apricus ownership for the 3Q 2015 versus the TOTAL increase in Institutional Ownership for the 2Q 2015.

Vanguard funds - Apricus shares added in Q3 2015: 163,851
Institutional Holdings - Apricus shares added in Q2 2015: 187,187 ( most of which went to Healthcare Value Capital - 150,000 in that quarter ).

It's still early in the reporting season to guarantee a BIG shift of shares from retail hands to Institutions. But it's looks like a nice start.

As far as I know - they did not issue any shares last quarter - unless we see different when the 3Q 10Q comes out ( in the form of shares issued to Aspire ). Therefore a positive share count toward Institutions would mean that they took them from the retail side.

As a side note - for those of who might not have noticed. The Apricus website now lists an Ownership Summary. They seem to keep it fairly updated. They list the Institutional Ownership in Apricus at 31.5 %.
