Wonder what the average price they paid for them was.... That would be hard to know exactly - but it's easy to figure out the share price range for the quarter.
3Q 2015: Apricus High: $1.99 Apricus Low: $1.10
Better yet, if I'm not mistaken, Vanguard bought these shares in the last month of the Quarter - September. I know this because they update their holding Monthly. And the majority of the increase happened in September.
September 2015: Apricus High: $1.99 Low: $1.41
Only two high Volume days in September - September 1st and September 10 - both of which - had Apricus trading at the high of that range. It doesn't mean they bought those shares for sure on those days but it is obviously easier for them to acquire shares on a High Volume day rather than your normal 100k shares traded day.
Total Shares traded in September 2015: 7,076,600
*- The two previously mentioned days in the month of September almost add up to 3 M shares traded.
Just for future reference I will list the total volume for each month of this year:
January 2015: 8,946,800 February 2015: 12,659,200 March 2015: 6,630,100
Apricus issued shares to Sarissa Capital and Bank Julius Baer during this quarter.
April 2015: 2,498,400 May 2015: 2,630,800 June 2015: 1,817,300
187,187 shares added to Institutions from Retail Investors during this quarter. Apricus did not issue any shares this quarter to any Institution ( Aspire or Sarissa ). No argument can be made that the increase in Institutional shares was due to issuance of new shares directly from the company.
July 2015: 3,250,900 August 2015: 5,801,000 September 2015: 7,076,600
Let's see what happens with the Institutional Ownership in Apricus this quarter. |
