I've lately had a nagging curiosity about time.

All of the implications of relativity were discovered by Einstein in an effort to preserve the notion of cause-and-effect. I've been thinking that the whole notion of cause and effect may be related to the boundary of time which we call "now". Causes are events which happened prior to now, effects are a related event that is happening now.

All of the swirling uncertainties of the future are sucked toward the singularity of the present. The past isn't changing, in fact it may no longer exist except for it's record in the present. It's like we are sucked into a black-hole of time, dancing on the event horizon and experiencing it as now.

Time is affected by the shape of our universe, just as space is. I wonder if we experience time and space differently because we moving into time, but space is moving away. .
