Evil is not imaginary. Only the simple will fail to understand that the "conspiracy" to pump stocks exists, and is the same as the "conspiracy" to dump stocks... with that conspiracy being "investment banking"... The dual problem Wall Street has... is that they don't know how to make an honest buck... and they don't have to. And that, in a nutshell, is why the market no longer functions. The same people who re-wrote the rules to enable fraud as a matter of routine in mortgage banking... causing the financial crisis in 2008... came out of the trading side of investment banking... but, they'd didn't ever leave it ?
