Reasonable regulations don't work that well when you FLOOD the market with the thing that needs to be regulated. We see this with drugs all the time. As far as carry permits. In MY state I could get a carry permit pretty easily and quickly. I believe TOO easily and quickly. I wouldn't want one though because I'm human like everybody else and if I got into an argument with somebody I might actually pull a gun and cause a whole new set of problems. And I'm an old guy and pretty even tempered. What about those young guys that just lost a girlfriend or could never find one in the first place. I really don't want every clown with a lot of testosterone carrying a gun.
