Its not god for certain specialized purposes (concealment, very long range, big game hunting) I would say it has proven itself as a fine long range target gun at Camp Perry High Power 1000 yard targets as well as in the AR-10 (.308 caliber) it can take pretty much any animal in the lower 48 states. I have several in various calibers including .223/5.56, .22lr, 300 blackout and 6.8mm SPC.
