James, I had no conflict with your figures, and my post was not directed at you. I had predicted some weeks ago that the Pentium II would be an uphill sell if it added costs but no virtues. Others thought the virtues would arrive at higher frequencies, and I replied that there would be workarounds capable of bypassing the pentium II and making it a big flop like the microchannel was. I did that 6-8 weeks ago. Got some ponderous types carping at me, Intel the wise, sort of stuff,so I laid low, It is nice to get some confirmation from the market place and your figures. Bill
