Really, so you wouldn't want anybody to check out your neighbor (that doesn't like you) before he bought a gun?

Even if he had been in and out of mental institutions.

I'll bet you'd raise holy hell if he shot you or a member of your family and THEN you learned he bought that gun without being checked out first.

I'll bet you'd be right off to your lawyer to sue SOMEBODY....
