I talked with RDC CFO 10 minutes before the market closed; asked if any of their fundamentals changed; "no", rates are firm, look good for the next 6-months (as far as he can see); no new supply of rigs on the horizion, no softness in day rates; indicated the boys at slb are very sharp people and the deal they put together should make them a ton of money.
