I haven't seen anything published on NMPs and colon since a PNAS paper in '94, and that was from Matritech itself. Might be false logic, but, if the diagnostic was any good, don't you think we'd see some manuscripts? Plus, they keep comparing it in press releases to CEA, which, while they refer to it as a gold standard, is not very useful.

This "spin" makes me worry.

I also found it strange that they were filing a 510-K. Seems to me that their posture is that the colon test is at least as good as something that is ackowledged as not so hot. I'd get ahold of the test protocol and determine its complexity relative to CEA testing. If it's simple and straightforward, I'd say that it might be used to monitor disease progression in a subset of patients where diagnosis has *already* been made.

Please consider that I haven't looked seriously at the company or its projects in a couple of years.
