Jim the Liberal campaign was brilliant... It played beautifully to Canadian anti American smugness... Republican Republican they cried.. The Niquab foolishness was Harper tossing gasoline on his own burning figure at the stake... DOH!.. The Liberals ran an exquisite negative campaign ... on not being negative... There's irony.. and yes there are as always inconvenient truths which are downplayed ... that's just the game.. The system and politicians get that.. The guy with best game won.. that's how it always goes... It has little to do with how good the plan is once in power ... electorate in general gets fooled 99% of the time accurate to 19 times out of 20 LOL (poetic license) ... we all must know that by now here.. although it is not common knowlwdge amongst the electorate :0) It's Trudeau Mania all over again.... from Welcome home Justin LOL to Calvin Kleinish pictures of our dreamy PM designate :0) I recall my cousin running around with Pierre's book and a giant dictionary during Trudeau Mania one.. LOL.. It's more like a Leafs game (where they actually win) despite the fact that you are (almost... naw not almost LOL) guaranteed to be let down later in the season... Anyway I'm bracing for a 10% GST ... Hope I'm wrong and it's only a record breaking 9% LOL Gotta fund that Liberal miracle of the loaves and fishes somehow... It sure as hell won't be oil revenues.. as an aside my HOD.TO is doing outstanding... :0) This has just gone down the way it always does... I wouldn't be any happier wit Harper or Mulcair.. I've already made that clear... :0) Poor Tom shot himself with his Energy Plan announcement.. plus he lost to ground to Duceppe which was easy to see coming... Too bad Duceppe has always been batting for the wrong team.. he's smart and articulate.. much more so than the typical fodder we get. The Liberal campaign also devastated Muclair in Quebec.. He was too Harperesque in his budget approach .. L's have always been the ultimate go to party for Quebeckers... despite their frequent dalliances.. Just how I see it... Canada got fooled again...
