When ISLD was up and watchable by us mear mortals, you could see orders go through. "usually" first in first out, but not always. I remember sell 2000 shares of a stock. 1998 shares went through, the other 2 got sold about 3 hours later. Made no sense as over 100,000 shares traded in that 3 hour time frame.

I don't think there are any concrete "rules".
