OT - Health Insurance 2106 premiums

I got my notice for the 2016 Health Care Insurance. Only a 2.8% increase this year. Same coverage through Kaiser $40 Co-Pay for each doctor visit and $10 Co-Pay for prescription and/or lab test.

Very happy to see such a low increase as I had expected (and budgeted) for higher rates. I have used Kaiser's individual/family plan for last 26 years (previously paid for by my employer). This was the lowest annual increase that I can remember.

My plan is/was grandfathered in at my current rate. If you were to buy a similar plan w/ same coverage could be as much as 30% higher to new subscribers.

Still have 8 years before I can join the Medicare Group rates.

Would be interested to hear what increases other have to pay for 2016.
