Gee, I say the companies and workers producing the silica to be made into silicon for solar panels are part of the solar panel industry.

If not, then the silica sand producing companies and workers aren't part of the drilling industry .... after all, the silica sand producers aren't drilling oil and gas wells and fracing them. They're just producing a product the drillers use, like the silica miners and workers who produce the silica used to make the silicon used in solar panels.

You thought you were being clever but you were just being stupid. Again.

And no thanks for the MISimformation. Black lung disease isn't silicosis, it's pneumoconiosis. It's caused by breathing coal dust, not silica dust. Hard rock miners can get silicosis though. Especially silica miners. (Footnote, my grandfather hauled silica from mines to a processing plant back in the horse and wagon days. He knew many men who worked in the mines and plant who died from silicosis. )

Miner's Black Lung disease is called silicosis but has nothing to do with silica....it is caused by coal (carbon) dust.

There will be no charge for this information....
