was just wondering re <<buy>>

i believe there may be a wide-gap disconnect between the actual china macro vs the possibly pervasive understanding of china macro, but the break has not translated into a buying opportunity in ...

china bloomberg.com as the market is up ytd

hong kong bloomberg.com is down, but only slightly

even as the sidebar bubbles of australia and such have hiccupped but hardly enough bloomberg.com for a safe wager

so there is nothing particularly urgent to do except to wait and see

re <<What part of the 13th plan stimulus do you find the most compelling?>>

(1) ecological initiatives should translate to macro goodness

(2) social (education, social security, health care and food safety) initiatives should be good for follow-on growth underpinning

(3) stepped-up poverty-relief programs should be good for harmony

(4) rebalance of urban / rural should be super for growth

(5) institutional reforms should be good for both efficiency and accountability

(6) accelerating agricultural reform is ohwhoawee

(7) propelling innovation happenings and all explicated plans can make a difference

(8) restructuring industry is a good plan

(9) transform to consumption from production is about time

(10) highly approve the initiatives to solve major problems that restrict economic and social development and the explicated focus on potential future drivers of economic growth

i have an idea on how to monetise on the plan, but am waiting and am willing to wait some more

i expect the fed to make a mistake that would trigger a buy-moment, and the longer the fed fails to make the mistake, the better the eventual buy-moment, so am okay w/ waiting

the mistake would be (i) raise rate, or (ii) go nirp or (iii) stay zirp, because the fed is a mistake already made
