Here's what the IPCC says about extreme weather events (not all are the same). They give a % certainty that things will happen in the coming years:



So, there's less certainty of hurricane activity than other types of weather events. But, now we're seeing unprecedented hurricane activity in the Pacific (intensity and frequency). One has to connect the dots and it's logical that warmer waters generate bigger hurricanes.
