There is no condition of present state of affairs where any part helping assuage, ameliorate conditions of our more innocent & still developing young populations, are aided by a statement of 'suffice it to say'. As for theology i'll let the good Nun's reasoned statement speak for me, there needs an expanded discussion instead of labels, rote reasoning & simple demonizing.

As we enter an age where there are more children by the 1000's living unwanted & virtually homeless lives, than any possible orphanage & social system can handle. In the most violent & desperate cisrcumstances, is it true you know nothing of some of the current stats of our larger cities? Chicago's murders has topped over 400 this year one quote heard today, this is appalling. Again try meditating on the present suffering, terrible fears, hopelessness & desparate lonliness that these living youth are having to deal before you inject the needs of a still developing embryo & an unsentient fetus to take precedent in your narrow focussed crusade.

It is the Law of the Land that aboprtion is accepted by the majority & a women's right to decide. It is legal up into late term abortions, then the moral decision becomes more inplay....and yes would agree that expediency in those cases would be a grossly unwise, morally unsettling decsion. But those are already deemed illegal so moot, there are the cases of rape , incest & vital risk to mother. If you cannot deal with the present circumstances of human suffering, what good is your cause to force more human beings to be doomed to such fates?

Better expand your discourse, it is not black & white, it is not 200yrs ago.
