That is exactly right, same with Syria., as much of a tyrant that Assad is, killing and torturing his own people, what is left in the vacuum if he is taken out?

Saddam the ultimate example... yes he was a brutal dictator, but he was secular, he had nothing in common with religious extremists and nothing to do with 9/11. Now the religious extremists have gained so much more power in his absence, the brutality is worse

Bin Laden got just what he wanted with his 9/11 attack, he wanted to start a holy war with the West. Bush and the neocons provided him with just what he wanted... such idiots "bring em on!' we'll kill them all"..."They'll greet us with flowers"... and the current republicons haven't learned a damn thing, they are just hooked on war as an answer
