I think that jumping to the assumption that GG supports the deal is incorrect. He believes that the merger may be a good ultimate conclusion, but no where has he ever stated that he supports the deal at the current price. Quite the contrary, he actually said quite complimentary things about William Martin, the head of RC, and the jury is out as to how he votes.
