If I understand the valuation correctly, they are valuing the company as if years of R&D time and expense developing a product that has a tier 1 design win and is sampling in Q4 targeting a much larger market has ZERO value. The average weighted share price is heavily affected by many black swan type events that brought volatility through misunderstanding and mishandling by management- The stock would crater when Cisco announced a chip that was complimentary and did not even in competition, but it would take the market time to figure these things out- The latest Cisco announcement was a speculation three years out. That black swan event is figuring heavily into the buyout price despite the fact that the stock recovered nicely because of a string of good news. QCOM executed fast breaks for 20 years integrating functions into chipsets, and I would not count them out in the battle with INTC. They could really get a leg up with a company like EZCH, and they have loads of cash and even bigger lines of credit. If EZCH were not well positioned in a market that is turning the corner I would be more concerned. The timing of the NP 200/400 could not be better, and to say that it has no value because it is not yet generating revenue contradicts everything EZCH management has been saying.
