"in exchange for every other country doing the same." Congrats, you've shown why Obama's green policies are dumb. Even if CO2 were a problem, it would be senseless for the US to do something unilaterally when the rest of the world is going gangbusters on carbon emissions. China has been emitting much more CO2 than us for years and Obama agreed with China that the US would cut CO2, even at the cost of major American industries and at great cost to our economic well-being, while China continues to grow their emissions till they're 3 or 4 times larger than ours.

The EPA head recently testified that American CO2 emissions controls would do essentially NOTHING positive even though she believes the malarkey that CO2 is the master switch that controls the clilmate and CO2 has to be carefully controlled to keep the world from catastrophe.

In truth, it would be nuts for Fiji to renounce tourism and hurt their own people. It would be nuts for Australia to cripple their economy, which is heavily based on energy production. And what greens want America to do unilaterally is nuts too.

"Nobody is that dumb. I'm sure you could get them to do it in exchange for every other country doing the same."

I'm going to mark this post ... you just admitted that the policies you promote for both the state of CA and the nation are DUMB!
