Michael: Yes, once you own the shares, the transfer is automatic as long as "90% of the issued and outstanding shares are submitted in the offer". You just won't have a choice as to whether or not you want to tender your newly acquired shares as Tomas pointed out. Unless you are a heavy hitter, this will probably not affect the outcome of the offer <g>. Schwab wanted to charge me a $39 transaction fee to tender my shares in each of my accounts, which I told them to stuff (I trade heavily).
