Yes he did, a few special ops into the Kurdish controlled area of Syria where we truly have moderate allies who are aggressively fighting ISIS and where we already have CIA presence.

A smart move by a very able leader, President Obama and our military that have learned some lessons. Not a stupid one such
as Putin bombing Syrian Sunnis further infuriating his already very dangerous 20 million Sunni population in the southern rim of Russia.
