George.....Your talking about Bill "Veeck" (owner/promoter) and the famous "Disco Demolition Night". It was in the summer of 79 (Don't ask me the date). Fans were asked to bring old disco records at a Soxs/Tigers doubleheader and there was going to be a bonfire. Well the Sox's sucked (what else was new) in the first game and fans started to fire the records on to the field and all hell broke loose. Good ole Bill, Always the showman, He'd do anything to bring people into Comiskey Park.
