The Weiner Defender has no idea what's going on ... he imagines the Syrian Kurds will be attacked by Russia and will attack Russia back. Russia in going in to protect the Assad regime, which is not actually being attacked by the Kurdish forces. The Kurdish areas aren't even close to the Assad regime parts of Syria. In fact, the Kurds are fighting the same forces Russia is, making them defacto allies, likely to be more open allies in the future:
