One step closer to making kimchi stew.

Used frozen ham hock for pork; stock and juice from kimchi for the broth. Waiting for the fat to congeal. Picked hock for pork meat and will be ready to assemble all tomorrow, I hope.

I made kimchi stir fry and it was delicious - may have posted that on this thread earlier.

There is so much you can do with kimchi and if you can make saeurkraut, you can make kimchi.
