Anonymous releases first round of KKK names – and this list includes several politicians.
You’ve probably seen the news that hacker group Anonymous was planning to expose over 1000 KKK members. If you haven’t, here’s a link to a comprehensive article and video covering most of the details.
While initially the announcement was sloughed off as nothing more than a threat, they started to make good on their promise to leak names yesterday.
This morning we awoke to find a video circulating on the Internet that claims to expose members of the KKK who are members of the US government as Senators and Mayors across the country.
The video not only reveals the names of the politicians, but also which KKK group they’re affiliated with. Out of fear of physical retaliation, the group states in the video that they will not release the addresses of the politicians.
The 2:52 minute video, while not exposing the full 1000 names they promised (that’s coming on the 5th), it does provide the names and pictures of the politicians affiliated with the KKK. It is suspected that this is only a partial list and there are more to come in the near future.
