He has claimed that he doesn't believe there was no life then suddenly life was created from nonliving matter. While that is at odds with part of Darwin's position

Given that wasn't Darwin's position...

He never took a position on how life originated. He did see life arising from natural processes as a possibility, but only a possibility. Could be the reason his book was titled "The Origin of Species" and not "The Origin of Life". Carson has claimed that Darwin was influenced by Satan. Where are the facts behind that? He also claimed that taqiyya allows Muslims to lie to achieve their goals. It, in fact, does not. The closest it comes to that is if a Muslim is facing religious persecution, they are allowed to conceal their faith to avoid bodily harm. So that isn't based in fact, either.

He claims that creation took 6 literal days. Where are the facts that support that? If he doesn't believe the Earth is only 6000 years old, then he is at odds with the founder of his religion, who was an early proponent of that idea. And then there is his Popeye's story. Baltimore PD says there are not enough details to verify it or not. And Carson refuses to supply any more details. Says he won't talk about it any more. What makes it suspicious is 1) he never mentioned it before until just recently, 2) he claims he doesn't remember the details. Most people who have a gun pointed at them, much less have one shoved into their ribs, can tell you all the details. They tend to be very focused at the time. 3) his violent childhood. Like the knife, every time he detailed that event in his books, it is different.

He lies a lot about the Nazis. For example, the Nazi's actually loosened pretty strict gun laws, not tightened them for Germans. Yes, they did restrict them for Jews and other enemies of the state. But that isn't what he claimed.

The list is actually pretty long.
