Thanks, I keep forgetting about tax loss selling. I thought it was mainly Medicare that was being balky. Even if true, they ARE the 800 lb. gorilla.

I get the impression earnings for American public companies weren't going that well this quarter. I would think that will soon matter more than the Fed taking a ladleful out of the punch bowl (I phrase it that way because the 1/2% hike that's in play is too timid to call "taking the punch bowl away"). I think we could get a correction in the midst of what is normally strong seasonality, and I've been raising cash and trailing stops accordingly. That also means being patient with names like FMI.
