Do you honestly believe that the CIA isn't operating Terminator drones in Syria and Iraq? Obama had to have some response to Putin that doesn't involve putting Stingers in the area. I think it isn't wise, but I can understand the politics behind it. Did you see that the Russians are sending air defenses into Syria? They claim it is in case fighter jets in surrounding countries get hijacked and used against their forces. Who knows if that is true, but that effectively cripples any attempt by other countries to provide air support. The French might as well send that carrier back.
