What the planet needs saving from... is LIARS... "Understand that climate change, global warming is real and getting much worse." Glad to... just as soon as there is a SHRED of actual, legitimate evidence. However, there is none. What the evidence shows to be FACT... is that real climate variation MOSTLY depends on variation in solar output... while the political version of "climate change" being used as reason to justify liberals efforts trying to control others in ways that advantage liberals... depends only on liars making shit up... and doing so more and more desperately... Of course, "climate change is real"... which doesn't make it a bad thing. Climate has always changed. What is a fraud is, first, the unstated assumption that it SHOULDN'T vary... and, then, the stupid assertion that we need to act to STOP it from changing... To whit... what's that crazy thumping sound in your chest ? We've got to get that stopped before it hurts you. Only idiots would believe that... and, if that means 99.9% of scientists are idiots... than that's what it means. Reality is... you shouldn't believe the lies liars tell... whether lies about climate change... or lies about the number of people who are convinced by and will support the lies that liars tell... as if that's a meaningful thing that alters the value of a lie.
