Def and all, seasonality is a sure thing. Or is it? How many are waiting for the arrival January to sell? And how many are waiting for January to buy (I would say the "expected" money inflows only.) And how many have already bought hoping for the Santa Claus rally and the January effect. Who are in a majority? I would say the sellers are. At this time, isn't it getting too obvious that it will not work this time. After all, this is pretty advanced stage in the 15 year bull. Even the high school kids know the January effect. Of course, we could have said the same about 1997 - but, in Jan 97 we didn't see so much of a worldwide disaster. Bottom-line, I think the market will rally till the first wednesday in January. Come January 10th or there abouts, the market will be in a swoon. -Mohan
