| | | >> A, unlike Carson, this is not a claim he made in a book HE wrote
Even if the agency wrote it, it does not explain how the writer -- whoever it was -- came to believe he was "Kenyan born." And why, it just happened, that after 15 years of claiming he was "Kenyan born," he suddenly changed only weeks before beginning his run for the presidency. Not when running for Senator -- but for president. It total is unbelievable to think that at no time in the 15 years did he see this bio. They certainly would not have used it without his permission.
>> B, the author of the bio has said that it was a mistake that she failed to correct
Of course she said that. WTF was she going to say when the guy was running for president? It is the candidate's fault?
>> ...and C, what would be the motive for him to leave the impression that he was born in Kenya?
I think that would have been a great question for Obama. But if you're looking for someone to speak to your group far better to have this man with depth of experience instead of NOTHING, which is what he otherwise had.
Did CNN send people out to try to trace down other instances of this lie? Did CNN talk to any of the people who attended Obama speeches to see what HE said?
NO. THE MEDIA DID NOT EVEN FIND THIS UNTIL THE MAN WAS SAFELY IN OFFICE. And even then it was a right wing media outlet, NOT the NYT, NOT the WaPO or the LaT, no. A right wing blogger. |
