Hi Richnorth, FWIW, according to Gesenius' Hebrew and Chaldee Lexicon to the Old Testament Scriptures, the number 9 comes from Tet, the ninth letter of the Hebrew alphabet, which means "a serpent". According to Bullinger, author of Number in Scripture, the number nine is "significant of the end of man, and the summation of all man's works"

FWIW: 666 adds up to 18, whichs adds up to 9

Interesting that the big drop was on the 27th and Friday's drop was 270 points.
