Maybe if all my flights were with one airline... I find I get a lot more use out of the hotel points. I have over 140k with Hilton, over 90k with IHG, and small amounts with other hotels. I've also had about 4 or 5 free hotel nights already. I've also gotten one free day with a car rental. We pick the hotels but not the flights or the rentals, those change companies to whoever is cheapest for the particular trip.
