Since nothing is mentioned regarding other items on the agenda, I assume this means the election of board members is still on. The results of the board vote will give an indication of the support for the merger, even if the merger vote is delayed. Interesting development!

EDIT: EZchip confirms the postponement of vote on merger with Mellanox (MLNX) and revised agreement to allow 30-day go-shop period and waiver of termination fee"

8:15 ET - It sure sounds like EZChip (EZCH) investors were poised to reject the company's planned $800M buyout by Israeli peer Mellanox (MLNX) as EZCH has postponed today's voting regarding the deal at its annual meeting. MLNX requested the delay, says EZCH, and their agreement has been amended to include a 30-day go-shop period. Shares have slid of late, closing yesterday at $23.93 versus the deal's $25.50 price. In a notice to EZCH, it says MLNX highlighted that a delay "will provide EZchip shareholders with additional time to more fully evaluate" the deal, announced Sept. 30, in part amid "the misinformation in the marketplace disseminated by Raging Capital." The 6.5%-shareholder has been leading the fight against approval and saying the sale process was truncated. (kevin.kingsbury@wsj.com; @kevinkingsbury)

(Stock climbing rapidly which indicates to me EZCH is back in play.)
