The shorts ARE NOT covering. This is merely a momentum play.
Check out page c20 in wed sept 20 WSJ. Short interest in Iomega INCREASED by 12.4% to over 25 million shares. If this run up is being caused by a short squeeze than there are a whole lot of fools out there still shorting it.

At 25 million shares shorted, approximately 4-8 times the average daily volume of IOMG shares there is a lot of short squeeze room left in this run. Assuming the number 85 m outstanding shares are correct (this was posted on this thread earlier) those of us long on IOMG should see a significant rise in the stock if all the shorts cover, and few people sell out.

Be careful, and remember this may have started as a short squeeze but todays report in the WSJ clearly shows that there is a lot of "squeeze" left in the stock.
