Kasha--Tiny Tim has to be one of the most enduring characters in literature.
And one of the least endearing. Every now and then much to my dismay they drag him out for a TV show or bad movie. Perhaps the worst of all time was the movie 'Buffalo Bill'. The director fought tooth and nail to have a scene edited out. It is at the very end of the movie and shows a crippled boy on crutches saying "God Bless you Buffalo Bill".
In the directors words, "When I saw that scene in the movie I turned and vomited."
That director is welcome at my house during the holidays for some 80 proof Christmas spirit.
