The new products are rated highly. Another good review in PC World for Zip-it. Quarterdeck has advertised for sales reps for the big markets although I do not know if they have hit the streets. So with no marketing and no reps we have no where else to go but up as long as the quality is there. CleanSweep Deluxe, Partition-It Deluxe, RealHelp, Tune-Up, Zip-It, ProComm 32, Webcompass, and even QEMM97 are quality products. The first step in correcting a problem is to recognize it. Hessler has passed step 1 and is onto the rest. I think you are wrong about the competition being too tough. The software business is "What have you done for me lately?" We shall see if my theory is correcrt with the imminent release of ViruSweep. This is a quality antivirus program that is fast and allegedly gets more unknown viruses than the competition. The virus field is crowded but large and growing. Good marketing and a quality product should grab a share for Quarterdeck despite the Symantec, McAfee, IBM, etc. headstart. In fact, the future of the company depends on the success of this strategy.
