Feline: Here's another one for you...Once a company issues options, the insiders will short the option grant into the market...The brokerage firms are covered against the delivery of same...Company makes money and the option grantees get to keep the spread inbetween...PP's work the same way, especially if they are getting close to the end of the hold period... Basically your right...The insider's have the upper and inside edge... BTW, I like finding company's that issue options and PP's... The more they do the better...Usually an indication that there will be some sort of activity within the option expirey period...The best ones are the ones that are trading below the option price...Gives you a little bit of an edge (unless they reset them at lower prices)...
