I've been customizing mine since I got my new PC 10 days ago. It is easy to move and delete stuff from the start menu.... I find it quite nice for organizing my very busy two monitor system.

FWIW, I've moved most of the annoying (blinking) suggested apps off the default Start screen so I'll have to scroll down in the future if I want to test them out before deciding to keep or delete them.
